The stand is easy to set up. Still needs 2 people to set up if you don't have the Ladder Stand Second Man (other post). The stand was lighter than others I had helped set up and also was compact enough that I could get to the middle of some of the tri-trunked trees on my farm for extra cover. Couldn't beat it for the price and its still standing (pardon the pun)
