Having killed a big blacktail myself, I can say thats a giant. I got to have a look at the current (in 2004) world record typical. It was taken off the same property I was hunting at the time. We saw two bucks that week in July that would have easily surpassed it. Neither were ever killed, and probably never hunted again for that matter.

looks more like a mule deer than a black tail. Although they are close to looking like one another, still looks like a muley to me.
