My best buck to date. Not a monster but it was a special hunt. My great uncle and ww2 vet passed away 2 months before the hunt. He never got to see me harvest a buck on his land and I am sure he was looking down on this hunt. Deer was shot perfect and only went 20yd after the shot. My uncle was shot down in ww2 and was behind enemy lines. The french took him in and there is a memorial where his plane went down over there. I miss hunting with him and can only hope i can still hunt well into my 80's
