Is this worth the price? Has anyone used their previous cold gear balaclavas?

i have worn coldgear crew neck shirts, they're definitely warm. i was at cabela's on saturday and was thinking of getting this, its pretty nice, but i went with just the gaiter instead. all i really wanted was neck protection, already have a hood plus i wear a hat... i'd get it! lolCharles Alexander
I have the cold gear shirts and pants etc, I love their stuff. Other than the fact it looks good I would be bummed if I picked it up and it was a disappointment. It seems lined better than just plain cold gear, do you know if that is the case?Mike Molinaro
i agree, it was definitely a heavier material. i know they have this 2.0 3.0 4.0 system now for their layers and this definitely seemed more dense than normal coldgearCharles Alexander
Yea for sure. I think I will just have to pick this up and keep everyone updated.Charles Alexander
I ordered this off cabbalas for $39.99 a couple days after I posted this because I noticed they had free shipping on clothing. I got the package today and I am very impressed with the quality of the balaclava. It is very thick material but it feels light. The inside is actually green unlike how it was advertised but I like green better. I will let you know how it is when I use it this fall/winter.Charles Alexander
used this balaclava in temps below 20 degrees with a 15 mph wind and it is absolutely wonderful. Its extremely comfortable to wear and the inside material is very soft on your face. I almost want to buy another one as backup for whatever reason. I highly recomend this.
