I've had the most success spraying it in bursts from the stand. I killed my biggest PA buck after spraying this and letting the wind carry it into his bedding area. He came looking for love, and found an arrow. They also work great for spraying on the ground or on your boots to make a trail to your stand. I go through probably 6-10 of them a year.
