This monster red stag was killed last year in New Zealand by hunter Mark Dickson. It scored 640/3/8 SCI. Of all the animals to hunt, red stag is at the top of my list, as is traveling to New Zealand to hunt. There are stag in Argentina as well but I've got my sights set on NZ.

the red stag is in the elk family not the moose so they are scored the same way as an elk would be scoredMark Mcintosh

Look up Shane Quinn of AlpineHunting.com if you want to shoot one like this. I got a gold metal stag package for only 5 grand. Less expensive to hunt there than in the US.
