Your right,,but even so look at the background,,it dont look like Florida to me an agin this gator is farm raised,,I had a few for pets an mine was 7 foot before I knew it as long as you feed them they grow really quick !!!
Looks like he's raising his arm to show the length, the dead tree in the background is a Palm tree and as for not being Florida I have fished that lake before and lived there for 20 yrs it has a huge wall all around the lake to prevent another flooding during hurricane season causing thousands to drown as it did in the past..
Looks to me that the man is standing off to the side of the Gator's belly and his hand is touching the belly as for the gator's shadow it is on the loaders tire which would stop the shadow from going any further on the ground . So what is the debate of this photo ?
i just love people that talk shit about other peoples awesome trophies ifen they were to open there eyes and look at these pictures for a lil bit longer ya can see he aint touching the gator his thumb is closed into his hand and he is several inches away from this gator there for the shadow is correct but hey ya all sound sortta funny ta read

I don't know how this guy could get that in a boat. That's one of the biggest alligators I've seen.John Kepler
