Had some serious issues this deer season missing deer and not killing much with a bow which is my first love. I ended up needing to carry a gun for rifle season and could not get off for the first few days of the season so ended up heading out with my brother the first Thursday and Friday of the season. I hunted hard the first day and half as my brother went along to try and push as he had killed his buck in archery season already we did some pushes and I made some walks around the property but only seen a few does. That night we went over to a spot we found in archery season where I had seen a lot of bucks and 2 monsters but never got a shot. We found a nice pin to sit under and let the evening progress. We started to see a steady stream of does from about 330 on. This being buck only week the trigger finger had to stay put. Then with abot 10 mins of light left I seen movement and asked my brother where this unaccounted deer came from as he was looking at turkeys and a nice gobbler that had just flew up to roost. He said he did not know and one look through the scope I seen it had 3 on one side. Told him I was going to shoot and lowered the scope to the deer chest and squeezed the trigger. Up in the air and on his back he went and it was done. My brother went down and shouted back that it was a nine cause all we knew to be honest is that it looked good and there were 3 up on one side. Very nice deer and I love his brow tines!!!
