It’s Official–Apple Creek Buck Scores 610+
As reported back in September, a buck harvested this past August by Scott Follett at the Apple Creek Whitetail Ranch in Gillett, WI, is the new world record Non-Typical Estate Northeastern White-tailed deer. The originally reported green score of 547 was a little off, though. This past weekend, SCI Master Measurers Chris Emery and Dr. Terry Braden traveled to panel score the antlers. After the required 60-day drying period, the buck will go down in the books with a certified score of 610 2/8. No “ground shrinkage” there, eh?
