Brittany Boddington- Brittany has published her hunting stories in GUN’S & AMMO, Peterson’s HUNTING, and SPORTS A’FIELD magazines.

Brittany was born and raised in Los Angeles California. Brittany always loved animals and the outdoors, she started volunteering at local shelters and ASPCA adoption centers at a very young age. She grew up watching her father go on amazing hunts around the world but did not actually learn to shoot until after she graduated high school. She hit the ground running taking five animals on her first African safari. Brittany has spent lots of time in Africa over the last seven years and has often wondered how she could help.

In April 2009 while hunting leopard in Namibia she was involved in a hunting accident where a dog handler was severely injured. When she returned home to LA she set up a fund called “The Punki Recovery Fund” and asked the hunting world for help. The response was above and beyond what anyone could have expected; the money in the fund paid for the best medical care available and also took care of the man’s family while he was out of work. “The Punki Recovery Fund” has now been renamed “The Boddington Fund” and has been moved into the care of Something More Safaris. Now the fund is there in case anyone gets hurt in the field and does not have proper insurance coverage.

Brittany is now on the board of Something More Safaris and is excited to be a part of this creative way of making a difference.
