t looks like a roebuck to me but idk, colton Jobes
i would just shoot it just to be safe or the best thing to do is call the game warden and have him/her look at the pics and see if he/she can do something about itJoe Heimke

It looks exactly like a roebuckcolton Jobes
if i was in yer shoes i would call the game warden, cause didn't you say it was aggressive and if you ran in to it and spooked it, it could feel threatened and attack.blake keating
It is a roebuck.Joe Heimke
It was aggressive I was hunting with my 5yr old daughter that nite n actually carried her otta the woods with my browning buck knife In other hand ready.I looked up roebuck n the sitka buck n both have such similar traits. He got run off the nxt nite by a dominant 8 n I harvested another wounded 8 last nite. Haven't seen him in a few days now but tomorrow its trail cam day. If I got it on cam I'm gonna bring dnr a picture n mk him tell wat nds to b done b4 I give him ne info on were he's been all seen so there not stompn all are property n stakin out around us b4 nxt wkends rifle opener.Joe Heimke
Now if its a roebuck are they more agrresive than a whitetail seeing it says there rut is from early october thru november? Or r they jus like a normal rutn buck protective of an area but quick to scat wen felt endangered? This is one reason I am against exotics in pens. Stick to wats natural n we wouldn't hv problems. I'm jus worriebout it breeding cuz the rut is jus kicken off n we hv 12 yrs invested in a well managed n hell of a nice big buck honey hole.colton Jobes
yes they are more aggressive than white tails
