Good job guys, but remember it is still a wild animal that is very capable of kicking all of your asses. He could easily taken an eye out even in this situation. I agree totally with freeing him but then maybe put some water nearby and back up 100 yards and watch to make sure nobody screws with him. The stress from all the touching and pulling on him also adds to his stress and can kill him alone.
