It was a full moon and gitn dark so I figured ole big daddy was prolly out in kennys field..I eased out of my buck lane stand and snuck on over towards kennys field. I took my muck boots off so I could tip toe in my socks through the leaves by the fence and as I got closer sure enough there that hoss daddy stood. It was gitn dark so I cld jst see a mass of horns on his head and was very obvious that he made the hot doe he was with look like a yearling. He looked like a bull standing there! My heart started racing so I jst raised my gun and shot free handed. Buck fever gits me everytime! I missed, but thank the lord he was with a hot doe cuz he jst bounced a lil and I reloaded and dropped him in his tracks!! I crawled over that fence and could see his horns shining. I ran over to him and he was still breathing so I called my dad. I told him I had jst dropped a mosshead and that he was still breathing. I was so excited he couldn't hardly understand me but told me to shoot him again so I put the phone between my legs and shot him again to make sure he wasn't going nowhere!!! It was a ten point with a 23 inch spread and scored 139. I was 18 years old and I killed it in 2010
