I'm not sure of the regulations outside of the state but I know you can't keep goliath grouper where I fish. They're making a comeback though there's anticipation for a regulated season to come back in. Today I'm seeing a whole lot more than I did 15 years ago. We catch small ones off of small islands with a lot of mangroves and I see a lot of big ones on wrecks. I'd say I've lost a few hundred fish to big goliath grouper that come out of nowhere and just inhale them. The fish in this picture was caught in Brazil. I'm not sure how long ago that was.

Are you kidding robert? Have you ever been scuba diving? Have you ever educated yourself on this species? This is a big Goliath grouper. I've seen them on almost every wreck and reef I've dove. I catch big ones every time I go fishing in the ocean. I think it's sad you're that skeptical of earth's ability to produce stuff like this. You should switch from Bravo and start watching some Nation Geographic or Discovery Channel.
