I went between Base Camp and Camp 1. No summit attempt. I was medical director for a trip taking 14 cancer survivors from Kathmandu to Base Camp. Took over a week to get to that height and we had to get them back down. Too dangerous to take them higher. I got to around 19000 feet on an optional excursion with a few climbers. Summited Kala Patar. Classified as Extreme Altitude.
