YEP looks like he had made it through the velvet and then got smacked my a car or truck ..he aint to bad id stick an arrow in him call the warden and and see about getting a salvege tag wouldnt hurt .....but i only hunt horns september to october then its all about stocking the fridge....

looks like a dislocation to me. maybe sliped or got it stuck and paniced and yanked it out of placeDevin Durm
the lower leg looks turned inward but everything except the joint look fine it probably got stuck yanked free and the dislocated joint healed that way
