This mystery has never been solved. This photo shows a 70-lb deer carcass 12 feet in the air in the crotch of a tree. It was discovered by hunters in upstate New York. Pathologic exam showed the deer had been killed by an arrow, but how its body wound up in the tree has never been elucidated. The location deep in the woods was not suggestive of a prank. Cougar???

It was Bigfoot!! D.E.C. says there aren't any mountain lions "cougars" in upstate N.Y. Really though some one had to put it there unless it some how it jumped up there because I don't see how a cougar could climb straight up a tree w/ no limbs w/ something that size hanging out of it's mouth unless it was one big SOB!Austin Tuttle
big bear because my uncle shot a deer one time and he was going to pick it up in the morning but in the moring it was gone beecause a bear picked it up OFF the ground and he foung burried in leavesKellie Grabher
