I left a trail camera near a Javalina bedding area in a cave. The cave had about two feet of fecal matter, and the over powering smell of ammonia is how we found it to begin with (the wind carried the smell for about a half mile!) It is one of many that circle around the mountain, and from hunting the area (public land) for the past five years or so has shown us that the pigs usually take about two or three days to complete their constant feeding/watering journey before they will return to this area again! I left this camera out from New Years Eve until early Febuary due to the river becoming too dangerous to cross, and the back way taking the better part of an entire day on ATVs and also being very hard and dangerous. When I finally got it back there were over one thousand photos taken! Many were of the rocks warming and cooling tripping the sensor! These were among the best for your enjoyment!
