I find them occasionally even into late spring. Especially under trees with low branches like hemlocks...high enough for the deer to get under and shelter.Eric Rogers

20+ tears ago I found a nice matched pair of elk antlers in Idaho. I live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and believe it or not, the airline let me "carry-on" them.Matthew Lichti
