I don't know how this plays out but I could see the deer getting bit. Obviously there's no way the snake could eat the deer. Still a long shot chance to capture something like this on a trail camera.

That is not a rattlesnake. It is a python, and at this range it would be coiled for defense if it were a rattler. Where was this taken?JERRY HARTON
