I killed this deer walking around with this ARROW in her head, eating like a normal deer. Me & my dad were freaking out, we could see the pus w/the binoculars before I shot it with my crossbow behind the shoulder where your SUPPOSED to shoot a deer. It must have missed all the important brain parts, & it was obviously infected so it probably would have died eventually anyways, so its good the meat didn't go to waste!It's so crazy what they are capale of!!

glad you were able to put this animal out of harm. This is why when we are taught how to kill these animals we have to aim for the vitals. There is a much better chance of killing the animal quicker and with less pain. Its a shame people just dont do that. (unless of course somehow this was an accident i.e. the deer was in an awkward position when the shot was taken.Tracy Vincent
Yea I know, she needed to be put out of her misery, I can't believe someone would actually go for a headshot - especially with a crossbow! Seems like it'd be a pretty weird incident for this to be an accident. I'm just amazed at what deer & other animals can go through and still act normal; I've killed one before & when we were cleaning it, she had an arrowhead stuck in her SPINE, but she was still walking around!
