Do you have a salt lick? That can bring them in at times!kraig cullison
i use a thing called deer cane, i put it on a stump and they lick itZack Doyle
We cannot bait or use attractants here in PA, so supplements like Deer Cane or other mineral products cannot be used during the season. My suggestion is to try a clover blend. Clover grows just about anywhere, and with decent soil, you'll have great luck with it. Imperial Whitetail Clover or Evolved Harvest Throw N Grow are both great products to try. Be sure to use the proper fertilizer with it as wellDanno Curfman
I'm kind of surprised you can't grow any of that in central PA. Like Zack said try clover. Deer love clover, especially pink clover. You could also try sunflowers. I'm surprised more people don't grow sunflowers. I have had success with them and the deer love them.Joe Overby
Try sending a soil sample to the county extension office for analysis. It might not be lime you're needing. Some soils just do not grow good crops, they need precise amounts of fertilizer and lime to balance out the soil ph and make them suitable for any type of crop.Jeremy Griffin
try clover and cow peas and any winter wheat or rye something that will grow in the cold areas if you will go to a farm supply store they will be able to help you with plants that grow in winterTom Crockett
I agree with getting a soil sample to the local extension office and trying clover. Whitetail Institute offers many varieties of food plot seeds and a local feed supply store may also carry many varieties of food plot seed as well.Craig Corwin
Try using a Clover mixture or Rape.
