Duck hunting in new mexico.

I am a mississippi boy and i am active duty airforce. i am currently in clovis new mexico i was wondering if there are any good spots for duck hunting? I went last year at a lil pond off base and i killed my limit everyday! But growing up in ms i am used to river hunting. so hunting on a small pond is a big change.

What part of MS you from? I grew up in southwest MS in between Gulfport and Hattisburg. We duck hunted alot of flooded timber, but Im active duty Army stationed in New York and am faced with the same problem you are as to learning how to and where to duck hunt. Up here they talk about hunting over the small bays that cut off the Hudson River. Small pond hunting is better to me then river. Dont need much to do it. and it seems to be slower but in the right place can be just as fun. Good luck to you.

Im from Philadelphia. about 45 minutes from meridian. I mainly hunted on the pearl river and the ross barnette. and have heard about alot of good hunting up there. The only thing about hunting the pond in clovis is its the only one in a 30 mile radious so when you shoot they leave and majority of the time they dont come back. Good luck to you too man.

I think it may be very convenient. You can easily compare prices in different countries and find your dream hunting. Your opinion is highly needed!
