This is a new obsession for me. I have been a mom, artist, 5K runner, 10K runner and now a bow hunter. I have found that there is nothing more stress relieving than shooting the bow. People think that it's easy but the amount of concentration is insane! Somehow though it takes your mind off of everything.

I will tell you that I dry shot the bow in the shop in Biscoe and pretty much had everyone tsk tsk me. That was my first lesson! Seriously though, I hit a bullseye on my first practice shot - without a sight. I am pretty proud of that! I have struggled a little bit with adjustments but I think we have it set now. I am trying to work on my draw weight, increasing it little by little. I'm ready for September 8th!
