I've always thought that antler growth had a direct relationship to the health of a deer's legs. Apparently for this nice young 10 point his terrible deformed leg isn't hurting his growth. I am willing to bet those mineral blocks, bushels of apples, and grains aren't hurting him either!
Goes to show what a good diet with supplementation can do for deer. Even with this severe of an injury he can still thrive. Looks like his left shoulder is messed up too. I wonder if he didn't meet a motor vehicle somewhere?
