I miss Kansas dove hunting! I lived in Wichita off and on for about 8 years and loved shooting doves there. Some of those grain elevators and watering holes would have hundreds of doves in the air at one time. It was awesome!

California opens September 1st as well. We usually hunt over harveseted safflower fields, but I have a few friends that take dove decoys, tie fishing line to the bottom and a heavy washer on the other end and throw them over trees or other places you're seeing dove, pull the line tight and tie off and the decoy stands up at the top. They swear by them, I've never really used them

I hunted over peanut fields for most of my life. Sunflowers in more resent years. Never used decoys. I'm a big believer in good camp for doves. Georgia has an early and late season. Opening day is September 1 at noon. I never missed opening day for years. I won't hunt until our second season this year. Still way too hot down here.

I think it may be very convenient. You can easily compare prices in different countries and find your dream hunting. Your opinion is highly needed!
