K-BAR or Benchmade. I use both of these for skinning. Great knifes. But I agree Marcus on the point of the Knife. No real need for a sharp point. As far as the edge of the knife i keep mine almost sharp enough to shave with. Keep in mind this is just one Marines opinion.
i use the buck 119 c i have not hade any problems with it can skin and cut up a hole deer and not have to sharpen it and on the days my wife takes my knife i use a case xx 3254 i can cut up a hole deer with both blades a round blade is nice but not necessar if u keep your knike sharp. hope this helps good luck this year
