what do you think about hunters who sit so far from the antlers of their harvest that they can't even reach them. Just to make them look way bigger?

I don't mind a little straight arming in a picture but some of the photos look like people are 10 feet from the horns. Yeah I got it you shot a 300 inch whitetail. As if. At least hold the antlers so we get a somewhat accurate depiction of them.

I think there are many ways to look at that. If you try not to be negative you can enjoy a little chuckle from it. But hey, i did the same thing when i was a kid. it wasn't about being arrogant i was just full of pride and was like see what i got. But yes i have seen the pic where people go a little over board. At the same time i would never fault a true sportsman for having pride in his/her accomplishment.

It drives me crazy because it is hard to get a true perspective as to how big it really is. You can have the same pride with out having to try and distort the size of your buck and make it look bigger.

Heck guys, I make mine as big as possible, Turkeys too.... But yeah I see these guys on TV that already have something out of this world and still do that.

I look back over the past 13 years at all of the animals I've killed, and I really only have pictures of the trophy animals. When I first started hunting, we barely took any pictures at all. I only have one picture of my first buck, and no pictures of my second one. I've got a ton of poorly taken photos from the early years, that were rushed and are low quality. What I cant stand to see is pictures of people with their animals in garages in pools of blood, or just a single picture in a truck bed, and no pictures in the field at all. Over the past few years, I've made it a point to take the time to get a large number of good quality pictures. If possible, I take pictures before field dressing an animal, and always take plenty of pictures while in the field with that particular animal. I take from all angles, closeups, and shots from far away. I have even started taking pictures of every doe. I could care less how far you push a buck away from your body, as long as it's good photography. I'm guilty of taking great some pictures, from some great angles, and it can make bucks look very impressive. However, I also take pictures from high angles and straight on that show every aspect of that deer. There's no shame in good photography and trying to show off your animal.

It's just "artistic license".

I think it may be very convenient. You can easily compare prices in different countries and find your dream hunting. Your opinion is highly needed!
