Trail cams ???

wondering what is a good trail cam. because i cant seem to have good luck finding one no matter the price. I have bought cams from $80 up to $200 plus. They work for awhile the crap out. Send them back new one works for awhile then down again different trouble all the time from just not taking pics or taking random pics till bat. goes dead. Tried stealth, truth cams, and wildgame cams. any suggestions ?

Wildgame innovations is what I always use. As long as its secured good they usualy don't take many blanks

I've had good luck with Wildgame innovations and Bushnell. They have a new HD one I'm looking into cabelas.com/product/Bushnell-HD-Trophy-Camera-Brown/1355111.uts

Ive always had good luck with wildgame innovations as well. There is a new line of trail cameras called Eyecon by Big Game Treestands that looks really good as well. They have a black flash model that Ive heard great things about.

i have a truth cam and i havnt had any problems with it and ive had it for 3 years so i think its a good camera for its money and i also have a wildgame but it takes a lot of blank pics and its a little slow so i might get a tail end of a deer as its walking by. so i prefer the truth cams.

Thanks for the input. What truth cam do you have Brad i have the truth cam 60 worked great for awhile then it just started taking random pic until it was dead. Far as wildgame cam which model does everyone use ?

Ive got a Wildgame NE-6, I think I paid about $80 for it online. Works awesome. I also have a couple S2 models. They're even cheaper yet, and very simple. Haven't had anything go wrong with them yet, but they eat batteries pretty fast. Ive heard great things about the Bushnell trophy cams too. Awesome battery life.

does any of those have a burst mode ? and how is the trigger speed ?

The wildgames dont. Not sure on the trophy cam. The trigger speed is really good on the wildgame cameras. I haven't used bait at all this year and I get tons of pictures of deer walking past perpendicular to the camera. They're mostly centered in the frame as well. I just posted two bucks from a cheap Wildgame camera yesterday.

I am guessing you just don't have your cams placed well. If they have branches swinging in front every time the wind picks up it will take tons of pictures until dead and wear it out faster. I have several different types and brands(I buy what ever I can find on sale) and never had any problems that weren't because of me and my bad placement.

Placement is fine. I can put them in the gun safe and not touch it door closed. lol and go back the next day and it would have 150 plus pic's taken. I have heard that a few people have had this problem mainly w/ truth cam 60. But hey thanks

I think it may be very convenient. You can easily compare prices in different countries and find your dream hunting. Your opinion is highly needed!
