Is a .243 a good caliber rifle to hunt with

Yes. A .243 is a good caliber rifle to hunt with. It does not have a huge recoil and you can place your shot accurately. It will not pass completely thru a hog, but with the damage it causes, that does not matter. It will also put a deer down in a heart beat. I have killed everything I have hit with my .243. It may not pass thru to leave a blood trail, but if you drop the animal in its tracks, that won't matter. I currently use and will use a .243 to hunt with.

A .243 is more than capable of downing a deer or a hog and is a great beginner high power.

My favorite aspect of a .243 is how flat is shoots. If you're shooting over open fields it's a spectacular deer rifle.

you could go a little bigger with a 308. or a 25-06.

I believe with the right bullet and load the 243 is a spectacular all around rifle.

I think it may be very convenient. You can easily compare prices in different countries and find your dream hunting. Your opinion is highly needed!
