Does anyone know how to keep the velvet on a bucks horns good?

My first buck was took on opening morning and hes in velvet and i was just curious if there is something i can put on the velvet to keep it well preserved and so that is can come inside and hang on the wall cause he was infested with ticks!

Do NOT, superglue or shellac your velvet antlers. You need to drain the blood from them by making tiny incisions at the tip of each point, then hanging them upside down. You then want to inject formaldehyde or velvet tan into the major blood vessels near the bases of the antler and allow it to move through. Lightly brush the velvet with the solution as well.

That would be AWESOME to have 1 on the wall in velvet. Zack, how quickly does this have to be done?

I think it may be very convenient. You can easily compare prices in different countries and find your dream hunting. Your opinion is highly needed!
