.30-.30, light, powerful hardly no recoil and great longshot and brush gun.

I agree the 30-30 is a fantastic bush gun. Sometimes not so light but small for the power.

Either the Marlin 30.30 or a bolt action .308 is highly suggested from this neck of the woods

Another great one that many people overlook is the .17 HMR. It is technically smaller than a .22, but has a much faster velocity. Makes for a great squirrel/rabbit gun as well as deer. I can think of 7 doe that I've shot in the past three seasons with mine. Wait for a good clean shot near the ear and it will work just as well as a 30-30, without the mess and, with a good scope, at a very nice range. I will suggest practicing before taking it in the field. A good, clean shot is needed to drop them in their tracks.

How about the 410 snake charmer it's inexpensive, small, light, and has a place built in to the stock to hold shells and it's fun to shoot. if you want some protection load up slugs or buck shot or hunt small game what ever size shot shell you want.

I'm thinking a nice AR-15 very nice and can mount scopes ,flashlight , ect. And can be put in severe weather and also be dumped in water, sand, and dirt and still shoot. So overall that is probably the best combat and survival weapon.

I think it may be very convenient. You can easily compare prices in different countries and find your dream hunting. Your opinion is highly needed!
