Just be patient.Warrior Outdoors
This early in the season you can try a young blet call 3 or 4 short times in a row about every 10 min. this is saying "hey im over here" to the mama. you can also try a young blet call as one solid blow. this says to the mama "HELP where are you". They work for me in GA. Keep in mind this is just one Marines opinion.Semper Fi

I use a flextone natural grunter call it has a doe grunt its the only call i've found with it and it has worked for me they come in lookin for the doe its like a social grunt that says come hang.Hunt Man
On fields I hunt, some days they come out shortly after it's dark and I'm out of the stand. On other days, they come out up to an hour before dark. Days like that do come with patience. Testing some different calls can do the trick and draw them out sooner. I even keep a turkey diaphragm with me and will cluck a little to try and show the deer it's safe. They are also great for walking into you stand through the woods when you're trying not to spook the deer. Walk, stop, cluck, walk stop, walk stop cluck. Just try to sound like a turkey walking through the woods. This has allowed me to walk right up on deer that would of normally bolted if I just had a consistent stride walking up to them. Good luck.Ryan Kulinski
Tyler if they are getting to you just at dark you could consider doing some in season scouting and find where they are coming from and put yourself a little closer to there bedding area or find there staging area that they use before they get to you.john bartley
ryan gave you some good points there my friend you have to shorten the distance or be patient, i use trophy rock from feb, to sept they love it plus it gives them the minerals they need im no expert just a hunter who has learned from my mistakesJoseph Ewing
I have found that deer that are coming out in the night can usually be gotten if you go out at first light. The deer will be returning to their bedding spots and not yet on top of their guard. This tactic usually works for me out here in Pennsylvania.
