Any one shoot a 32 in draw length?
Well I do and just wondering what you shoot as far as a bow make? I shoot a Bowtech Commander and I like it a lot but I bought it in 2006 late. Tell me some of your thoughts on what your shooting or a shooting buddy might be using?

I don't shoot a draw length that long, I'm a true 30" but I know quite a few guys with draw lengths like that. The Commander you're shooting now is a great bow but only goes to 31" if I remember correctly. I was on the Bowtech staff back around that time, and have shot quite a few. Won a World Championship with an Allegiance. Some others that go that long that are more recent are the Z9 and MR7 from Mathews, which I could care less for either. The Bear Anarchy goes to 31.5, and is an awesome shooting bow. Hoyt has long draw versions of almost all of their hunting bows, also great shooters. The PSE Freak is an awesome bow too, and about as good as it gets in the performance category. The Bowtech Invasion CPXL is an incredible bow too. Thats mostly everything, but if I had to choose one, it would be either the CPXL, the Hoyt Vector 35, or the PSE Freak, and probably in that order as well.Ryan Kulinski
Zack I went and shot the CPXL just yesterday at the dealer here. Speed is incredible on it for sure. I want to shoot the hoyt next. My commander goes out to 31.5 and I use a half in loop on it. I have never shot a PSE ever and maybe I should.Zack Doyle
That PSE is a really nice shooting bow. It is extremely fast as well, and will probably slightly outperform the Bowtech. It is a bit longer though at 38" ATA, but with a 32" draw length, you need the longer bow for a better string angle. The Bowtech is probably a better hunting bow, but if you do some 3D shooting or indoor shooting, you'll want the 3 extra inches. It may be very difficult to find a Freak to shoot, because they're built specifically for long draw shooters, and I think the shortest they go is 30". Not too many shops will have one on hand, but if you can find one, its worth going to shoot.Ryan Kulinski
Yea I was wondering about that too. I would hate to have them order one in and then me not buy it, but you know if you spend that much money you want to like it right? I have a had a few shorter bows and just never liked them because of that pinch point. I have some time to see still just curious about thoughts on these bows. Its kinda funny with my Commander I have now every one is like dang that bow is huge lol! But I can shoot so much less weight and still have better speeds then those with less. I am not a huge speed freak but I like the ability to be able to use 1 pin from 20 to 40 yards shooting 64 lbs.David Tomlinson
Well, had a PSE and did not like it at all. Went to Mathews and i love it.Ryan Kulinski
What Mathews did you go to?Zack Doyle
The Inferno only adjusts out to 31"Ryan Kulinski
So I shot the PSE Vendetta, it goes to 32 but little concerned on the axle to axle!douglas bobbitt
put i 1 inch loop and the inferno is 32 i am 6ft 3 and dont have a problem with itZack Doyle
There's no reason to sacrifice the extra inch of draw length and have a bow that truly fits properly. The one inch loop moves the string forward in your anchored position making it difficult to anchor with the tip of your nose on the string properly. Also lose 10 fps in arrow speed, and the resulting kinetic energy. That Vendetta is a really nice bow, and you shouldn't have too much trouble with the ATA. It will really spit out some arrows using every inch of that cam too. The most important thing is to be comfortable. If you liked it, and felt comfortable with it, you shouldnt have any problems. It will be better out of a treestand and blind too.Ryan Kulinski
Yea it felt better to me on the PSE then the dang Bowtech for some reason. The valley on the PSE was so much more smooth and the wall felt better too. The IBO is pretty incredible with my 32 in draw length too.
