While Lucky Buck Mineral can be used as an attractant, it is designed for use throughout the growing season, beginning in the spring. Access to the mineral helps the health of the deer, which then provides the best chances for larger antler growth. However, we realize that many of our customers do use our product as bait. Whether they choose to do that or not is completely up to them, and we make no judgments. State regulations on baiting deer are intertwined with regulations on feeding throughout the year. This is the biggest reason we like to provide the information on our regulations page.
