Believe it or not a Tampon can be a man's best friend in a survival situation.

As awkward as it is to discuss at first, a tampon is an amazing tool, outside of its intended use. Check out this video from Yahoo about the use of the "Manpon" as a survival tool. Just as a side note, back during Desert Storm, a bunch of my friends who were marines carried them in their pockets... they figured what better to seal a bullet wound in the abdomen? I don't know about effectiveness but it seemed legit.

Not only is it a great survival tool, unscented tampons work extremely well as scent wicks. They soak up a large amount of scent, expand to have a big surface area to release the scent, have a convenient string on the end to tie onto a branch, and are much less expensive than buying name brand scent wicks. I buy a box every year.

Someone needs to market them in a "manly" type of box so guys who need to buy them, don't get the looks from the people at the store.

Do they come in camo?

You know John, I thought about that a few years ago. Marketing tampons in manly styled boxes for hunting purposes. Never did follow through on it, but it could be a winner if it hasn't already been attempted.

Try soaking one in vanilla and hang it in a tree to hide your scent and attract bears

Great idea but here in Tennessee I am not anxious to have bears following me around lol.

I think it may be very convenient. You can easily compare prices in different countries and find your dream hunting. Your opinion is highly needed!
