Like helping a fellow hunter?

The military has brougt me and the wife to Virginia from Florida and I need a place to hunt and fish. We are just outside Ft. Lee in Chester and don't have a clue of where I can bow hunt that I can get a nice buck. I've been fishing a few times on the James and the Appomattox but haven't done to good. I could use a few pointers about where to hunt and fish and what are the fish biting on around here.

Hi, Another guy was just stationed in ft. Belvior around Alexandria Va. and all I can tell you is what I told him.....Head for the hills!, it is beautiful and there is a lot of deer. My son and I camped every year for years in the George Washington national forest in Amherst co.and had a great time! most of the time we never even saw an other hunter. I shot an almost 150 class buck there the year before last. SO If you want to bow hunt the Blue ridge mountains is the place to go (no deer dogs aloud) otherwise you have to deal w/ everybody running deer dogs. There is nothing worse than sitting for hours in a great spot just to see your dream deer go bounding by w/ 3 or 5 dogs hot on it's tail, take it from me I know all too well. DON" FORGET YOUR COMPASS As far as fishing goes I found private ponds are the best and people are pretty quick to give permission to fish. and as for bait nothing really beats a worm and a # 6 hook. GOOD LUCK

I think it may be very convenient. You can easily compare prices in different countries and find your dream hunting. Your opinion is highly needed!
