i got a 50 caliber muzzleloader and huntin season starts here soon would this gun be good to use to hunt with

i think that it would be but i would like some other opinions first

I think it would be a great gun to shoot but not to shot a deer with because of the power behind the bullet might cause a big chunk of your deer to go missing

They are great for white tail I use a 45 caliiber for bear deer and moose.

I have used a 50 caliber on Minnesota deer out to a hundred yard with no problem of wasted or missing meat .
